Course Overview

This comprehensive course introduces dental implant treatment with a focus on patient assessment and treatment planning. Over 2 modules, attendees will learn the fundamentals to assess patients for implant treatment, how to plan the case using a restoratively-driven approach, surgical procedures involved in single teeth and short-span bridgework cases as well as how these cases can be restored. Hands-on exercises are designed to build confidence in understanding the surgical site and implant placement & positioning so the attendee can transfer these skills in a live surgery involving their own patient.

Live Surgery (Sunday, 15 September 2024)

Live Surgery is an elective session where you can perform the surgery on your patient under our director’s supervision. An additional $1,000 covers surgical components, instruments and consumables for placing one implant on your patient. Your surgery schedule will be nominated 7-10 days before the surgery date (on a first-come, first-served basis). To join Live Surgery, you must find your case and submit relevant information for case review by the course directors. Your surgery case must be assessed by our directors and confirmed before surgery. Live Surgery FAQ - Click here
